Ashley Perich

Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and their Hamburg congregation knew they could not go back. Ashley was 17 and had never had a relationship in a relationship with another man prior to that. They took the relationship quite slowly. However, it was true love at first sight. Andrew wanted to ask God to do one last thing to do on New Year's Day, just prior to the year ended, which was that Ashley agreed to marry him. Ashley was keen to have the wedding with a folk-inspired wooden theme, as it represented Andrew along with her. Andrew and Ashley incorporated their most loved things for the wedding. The wedding venue was the back 40 acres of land Ashley grew up on. From the trail they walked towards the field that they said "I do" in. Ashley had explored and played around on it. Andrew and Ashley have also explored in this spot several times since they began dating. Since almost everything was DIY by the bride and groom, it was essential to personalize the wedding. Ashley created and painted many of the decor, while Andrew Ashley's dad and Andrew designed the seating area and the ceremony arch.
